More info
Located at the gates of Pauillac and overlooking the Gironde estuary, the Lynch-Bages vineyard (Grand Cru Classé 1855) stretches over a magnificent ridge of gravel. Once owned by the Lynch family, of Irish origin, the estate was bought in 1939 by Jean-Charles Cazes. one of the few old winemaking facilities that has remained intact. His visit is a real journey through time ....
In 2017, the Cazes family opened a new chapter in the history of the property by launching the renovation of its technical facilities. While in-depth analyzes of the soil and the vineyard have been carried out for several years, the renovation project, entrusted to the American architect Chien Chung Pei, fits naturally into this quest for excellence.
