More info
Located in the heart of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, Château Tronquoy-Lalande has a 30 hectare vineyard. The origin of the estate dates back to the 18th century. Several families of owners succeeded one another until 2006, when the property was acquired by Martin and Olivier Bouygues.
Château Tronquoy-Lalande, located in the heart of the appellation, is one of the oldest wines of Saint-Estèphe. It owes its name to François Tronquoy, the first owner of the estate, and to the place called La Lande on which the historic plot of the Château is planted.
The terroir of Château Tronquoy-Lalande, identified as one of the most beautiful, extends evenly over 30 hectares of historic hilltops in the heart of the prestigious appellation of Saint-Estèphe.
The wines of Château Tronquoy-Lalande know how to seduce from their youth and gain in elegance after several years of aging. Merlot, associated with Cabernet Sauvignon, combines fruit and power. The tip of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, present in the blend, brings freshness, finesse and aromatic complexity to the wine.
