More info
One of the oldest wine estates in the Médoc, Château Leoville Las Cases covers an area of 97 hectares divided into two zones:
- The "grand clos" of 60 hectares, entirely surrounded by walls and adjoining Château LATOUR, is used to produce the great wine. The entrance to the enclosure is guarded by the lion adorning the labels of the estate
- The other hectares of vines are used in the production of the wine called "clos du marquis".
Leoville Las Cases castle is the heart of the former Leoville estate which, through various transfers, gave Leoville Barton and Leoville Poyferre.
The estate has been managed by the Delon family since the 19th century.
