More info
Château Desmiral, Third Grand Cru Classé in 1855, enjoys an exceptional location, on the edge of the famous "Route des Châteaux". Behind a majestic pink marble portal can be seen an elegant 17th century charterhouse and a typical Médoc vat room from the end of the 19th century.
In these buildings steeped in history, visitors will be able to admire an exceptional framework and will undoubtedly not be insensitive to the aesthetics of a recent wooden vat room.
Jean Desmirail, on the occasion of his marriage to a young lady Rausan, gave his name to the property at the end of the 17th century.
Denis Lurton, current successor to Jean Desmirail, took over from his father, Lucien, in 1992. Since then, he has watched over the estate's destinies by investing regularly in the modernization of the property. The Château Desmirail produces elegant and smooth wines, in the purest Margaux style.
