Vin(s) du Château Talbot

This very large vineyard (100 hectares in one piece!) Owes its name to the Constable Talbot, an English general who perished in 1453 at the Battle of Castillon. But it is to the illustrious Cordier family of merchants, whose heirs still hold the reins of the estate, that Château Talbot owes its fame.
