Château Doisy Daëne 2004

At the very top of Haut Barsac, bordered by Crus classified in 1855, Doisy Daëne is located on the clay-limestone plateau. This geological exception on the left bank has contributed to making the village of Barsac and its wines famous throughout the world.
Surface: 15 hectares of Sémillon intended for the production of sweet wines of Doisy Daëne. 10 hectares of Sauvignon blanc intended for the production of dry white wines exclusively carried out in the municipality of Barsac.
Grape variety: 40% Sauvignon blanc, 60% Sémillon

On the Barsac terroir, Doisy Daëne produces both a Grand Vin de Sauternes and a racy and very original dry white Bordeaux, the Grand Vin Sec du Château Doisy Daëne.

In great vintages, Doisy Daëne produces the famous and rare L’Extravagant cuvée of unparalleled richness.
