The origin of Château Desmirail goes back to the end of the 18th century, resulting from a sharing of the famous estate of Rausan. Since 1992, the property has been owned by Denis Lurton, who continues the work of his father Lucien and takes great care in the production of this Margaux Grand Cru Classé. The vineyard area is 30 ha. The nature of the soil is deep quaternary gravel and the vines are 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
